I find it amazing that anyone could formulate such a plan for this young woman, using her own needs against her. And as luck would have it, she followed their plan blindly... not knowing what would befall her. Totally believable though. As always, great story telling.

This story "jumps the shark" at this point. When a blackmail victim has nothing to loose (as in this case her husband knows all about it) the blackmailer has no further hold over their victim.
