As a hiker and trail maintenance volunteer from East Tennessee, I'd like to give you the correct spelling for the AT, APPALACHIAN TRAIL. I liked the story although nothing remotely like this has every happened to me. Maybe some day.

Can'texpect much when even the title support line is misspelled! What eveer happened to spellcheck and proofreading?

First of all, the author apparently has not hiked the AT. The hikers would have introduced themselves with their trail names. Furthermore, the shelters are open at the front - no doorway, let-alone a door. Couple those details with spelling and grammar errors and we have a story with promise but one that needs work.
