...An absolute life of its own. But more than that it has such a positive force to it, the empathetic way Shannon finds herself and rebuilds her own self-confidence generally and then creates her gender almost from scratch and then her sexuality falls together from there. Its a fabulous fantasy that revolves and spotlights such a magical persona in this "Mary" that has these benevolent leanings and watches over her charges in order to guide them down a road that she's mapped out for them, almost a Kingmaker, or perhumps even a Queenmaker! But you certainly hit on a role I've fantasized about for so long since reaching this age, to take all the knowledge and use it to build an organization to help those that remind me of... well... me first of all, but that also remind me of all those that ran head first into the assholes that pushed them into the end result that almost took Shannon. Wow... I have not had a story on Lit get me so emotionally involved for quite a while. Thank you for sharing this tremendous work, and I sincerely hope you will continue on, and build many more adventures either with Elysium or in other directions, as you have such a wonderful talent. A masterfully written story! Well done! The way you develop these characters is nothing short of perfection. You have a gift for writing deep conflicting emotion that few have done better. I especially liked how you kept Mary mysterious even at the end. I'm left wanting to know more about her and Elysium. Keep writing! :)

Absolutely amazing! The way you create a picture of the way she feels. The worthlessness of her existence because of who she thinks she is because of how she's allowed others to influence how she/he thinks about herself. You have created a story and a character that can be so identified with, maybe not for exactly the same reason but exactly in the same way. Anyway, I know I'm rambling being a little drunk now, co-incidentally, also on spiced rum in conjunction with other factors which might just some night stop my heart and would by the way, be OK. All that aside, I want you to know that this story will be be with me for a long time, and I want to thank you and wish you the very best karma for writing it.

Beautifully written, fully of emotion brought back a few unhappy memories for me and a few good ones too. The pace wasn't hurried. Looking forward to reading more about the Elysium, and maybe also Shannon returning to the bar when her former band plays there, to shove their faces in it xx

There are far too many boring, mechanical sex stories on this site. Way too many awful, degrading humiliation stories involving crossdressers, too. This is neither; it's so far over the bar of quality on this site that I don't think it even noticed surpassing it. It's both heartbreaking and heartwarming, wish fulfillment rooted in reality in a way that is so rarely done well, and so affirmational and sex-positive in its climax and denouement. In short - and to wrap up - very well done indeed; you are a master storyteller and far too good for the likes of this site!
