Click hereI hopped in the shower and took a quick one. As I was drying off I called out to Geran, "What should I wear?" As if I didn't know what he'd say.
"Daisy Dukes and a bare midriff halter top. No undies."
"Geran you are so predictable."
"Maybe, but I looking at as much of your flesh as possible."
"I love you too."
We took a cab to Mist's club and were seated right away. Geran kept staring at me the whole ride over and at the table. I was starting to feel a little self-conscious when he suddenly reached across the table and took my hands.
"Nicole, you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, but I don't want you to think I'm only interested in you physically. There aren't enough words to tell you how much you mean to me and how much I love you. It physically hurts me to think you might be away from me. You are my soul. I...I..."
I squeezed his hands and pulled them to my lips to kiss them. "Stop. I know how you feel because I do too." Both of us were getting teary eyed. "I will NEVER leave you. Even if you tell me to or cast me away. If we are ever separated I WILL find you. You as much a part of me as my own heart. Now stop making me cry so we can order and eat."
He pulled my hands to his lips and kissed them and then released them. "I just want you to know if you want to dress more conservatively or have less sex it's fine with me. Anyway, what do you plan on having for dinner?" he asked me.
"Hmmm. Caribbean Shrimp with Plantains and Pasta. You? Oh, stop making faces! It'll be good!"
"Blegh! I'm going with the Catch of the Day Caribbean Style with Rice and Veggies."
A voice to the side suddenly spoke, "An excellent choice youngsters! Glad to see you again." It was Papa Mist. He pulled a chair up to our small table and began chatting with us. He told us several local legends and ghost stories.
