I loved this chapter and I am so pleasantly surprised with Luke's decision to leave the compound, it's exactly what their relationship needs...normality. Please, oh, Please! Don't take so long to post the next chapter...please. Whatever happens I hope that in the end they remain together, in love, and that they are rid of Mike. Also, what happened with his mom, is she still sick? Loving your writing :)

I continue to enjoy this story. I love how Luke has begun to change. One thing...how old are they. I'm assuming that he's around 20ish and i believe Luke was 5 yrs. older. One thing I was surprised at was that Luke wasn't upset to see the scars. He never saw them and to see the lasting damage would have been tough you'd think. I hope that Johnny doesn't let him off the hook totally...Luke really was awful toward him...I did like his apology. Esp. given his personality, he really was sincere and I like that he admitted he was flat wrong to say the things he did. It is also the ultimate way for him to prove that he is now choosing him over the business by getting out for the most part. I hope the last chapter if very long. I'm sad this will end soon.

I have to ask, why didn't Luke kill Mike? He has killed and had people killed for much less I'm sure. How could he let the man who tortured Johnny live? I'd like us to find out...better yet, let him kill him now :)

If you make me wait another month for the next one >:( .........i was really surprised at how much the mood changed in this one, it almost felt like a different story because it didnt really fit into their personalitys. I loved it though as with all your work. i also think you left the whole mike thing a bit unresolved.....like why didnt luke do something about mike. once again please make the next chapter longer.....keep writing.....i love it and the characters! Sweet! I was glad to see you were back. The sex seemed rushed to me--just too soon after all of the understandable doubts Johnny kept thinking and thinking about. He had all this angst and anger and then they randomly had a drunken hookup and now it's all okay? But I love your writing style and can't wait for the next installment!

All right the no comound thing is odd because even though its nice to see luke as a good guy the whole perception of his personality is based on him running the compound maybe they can just run it for leslie, or like use luke to keep everyone in line. Plus well they just didnt seem like jhonny and luke. Luke without his violent streek is just not luke hope you get what i mean. Much love and keep writing

Try to make Luke a nice guy for one night! Haha. No it was Luke and Johnny but just a different side of them both. Luke isn't harsh and violent all the time, he has a sweet side and maybe i tried to show it to much. Sorry! I liked the sweet Luke. I know it seems all happy times but just wait, ill balance it out :)

... thinking back to the way this started, I think as the chapters went along you wrote the story you believe *we* want to read rather than the one you wanted to write. Don't get me wrong -- I think you've enjoyed writing this. I'm just saying that if you have an idea you want to explore, you should write it and us be damned. That said, can't wait until Luke realizes Johnny fell in love with him *because* of who he was, not in spite of it. Great characters, and I like the unusual setting.

I really don't think that a week can be qualified as "sooner than you think" by any stretch of imagination.

If you tell us that you wont take a month to post the next story and you do take more than that, and you "say sooner than you think" but it takes a week for you to post, personaly it makes me upset and makes me not want to read the next chapter. I'm just saying dont make promises you cant keep it only agrivates everyone else. It dosent matter if it takes you two months or a year to post the next story we wont force you to finish at a set time, so you dont have to make empty promises. We love your stories nomatter how long you take

No his mother isn't dead. We know Luke said he'd get her into surgery, we would k is by now if she had died sorry for leaving you hanging!
