OMG, yet another “high school sweethearts, never been with anybody else sexually” story. Christ doesn’t anyone ever get out and live life and have a few relationships and a few sexual partners anymore? That, as well as presenting the mid-40’s age range as “old”. Or the old trope about men who seemingly have no need for any refractory period after they have orgasmed - real guys need a little break, at least. Get out in the world, see what life is about, try leaving high school behind. Let’s have characters that are real adults, with complex, nuanced backgrounds, not just a bunch of hold-over teenagers.
