This chapter is not a stand-alone story. It continues directly from the previous chapter, and makes little sense on its own. To those readers who regard Charmaine as nothing more than a "slut", this reviewer recommends reading My Girlfriend's Best Friend, to see what Danny is up to at the same time that Charmaine is with Ryan. Danny is shown to be no innocent victim, and, unlike Charmaine, has far less inner turmoil about what he is doing than has she. The complexities of the relationships in this saga, and the ongoing emotions and inner turmoil involved, make for a gripping drama, of which this chapter is a small part.
