I liked this story because it's sweet. Yeah, I know that sounds mushy, but it's not often we (the readers of Lit) encounter a story in which the characters clearly love each other in a simple, ordinary yet beautiful way-- free from stone castles, maidens on horseback (although that can be fun), and champaigne on the beach. This was refreshing because it is so very real.
