I like the story so far but I dont see where it can go from here except divorce. While I applaud the wife for being at least semi-honest after the fact, I dont see why the husband would want to be married to someone like her.

Sharing is fine if both parties agree. Swapping is grand if thats what both want. In a relationship that doesnt involve outside sexual partners, having your wife tell you she is going to have an affair is just crazy though. She is counting on his love to let her get away with anything but she is thinking screwy. She isnt the person he loved anymore and if he let her carry on with her plans, he wouldnt be the man she (claims to) loves either.

I like the story so far (especially the wife's state of mind & vacilations regarding her attraction) but it seems youve stuck yourself into a corner here. Maybe she will recognize how goofy her thought process is if the husband starts having affairs too but it would be too late for me. She's either really dumb or really self-centered or both.

Having her think so much about it before it happened & then deciding to try to force her husband to let her continue makes it worse than the standard cheater gets caught scenario IMO. Her good points aside (I really like that you didnt make her totally evil & that there are some things to admire about her), at the very least the husbands got to wonder if his version of love and hers share any common ground after this.

I like this if for no other reason than Karen admits her affair from the beginning. It's a different twist. Since Blue88 is 'flying by the seat of his pants', maybe even he doesn't know how it's going to come out. Been there, done that. I hope he remains clever and resourcefull.

Although Karen is upfront about having an affair with Jim B., Jim B. has not told his wife that he is going or wishes to have an affair with Karen.

I think Karen is digging herself a hole that she will not be able to get out of. If she and Jim decide to have an affair, I can see two divorces in the future. If Karen and Jim confess to their spouse that they have already had intimate relations, there will be divorces. Actually, I cannot believe that a husband would give his consent to his wife to have an affair and chuckhold him. Besides, what man would want sloppy seconds.

Karen has NOT told Jack the truth - she tells him "I'm going to have a brief affair with Jim."

That is a far cry from saying 'I already fucked Jim the other day and I will do it again"

That tension disappeared in chapter 3 when they hopped into bed almost on day one after their meeting. Then the question became, would the spouses discover their adultery or not.This chapter is the most incredible scenario I've ever read on Literotica. Whether I like your characters or not or whether or not I like what they do or don't do, is my problem as the reader. I'm hoping that your imagination and story weaving skills will write the story you want to write.

I urge you not to be discouraged by the comments some of the readers leave. They are certainly entitled to their opinions and to express them in this forum, but you have some imagination and skill that entertains me and a number of others, and we're more interested in the stories you want to tell than the stories some readers feel compelled to direct you to.

Assuming your biography has some truth to it, (we are all entitled to privacy and a few of us . . .me?, lied a little to protect it) you and I are among the "elders" in this forum. We have in our lifetimes met all sorts of people, all of whom, in some way or another, have their own character flaws.

It is these flaws, I think, that are what makes each of us interesting and I have claimed over and over that, if our charcters didn't have flaws, they would be dull and boring and we would have nothing to write (or read) about.

But fact is, in so far are the central story goes, unfortunately, Jack is a voyeur (albeit a closet one who doesn't want to admit he's one), who loves seeing (or knowing) his wife is fucking around and pretends to somewhat be angry about it but is also ready to go down on his knees, to hold the cheating wife, as she FAKELY cry and beg for "forgiveness"!

I wish good luck to the author with the ending to your story. My only prayer is that it is not going to be a repeat of some type of an over used formula in this genre. Following are two examples of such formulas. I wish, with not much hope, to never see an example of either.

The reader FUMUNDA CHEEZE provided us with what I will call “The Totally-Wimp-Husband” formula (TWH).

I would like to present a modified version to this formula, which I will call: “The Pretend-Non-Wimp-Husband” (PNWH). I have seen small variations of the PNWH repeat themselves ad-nauseam.

According to this version the pretend- non-wimp- husband declares that wife’s cheating is/will be totally unacceptable. He ominously warns that because of what she did/or if she does what she plans, he ‘can not guarantee the continuation of the marriage’ and that ”right now” he is going to leave home. Wife is distraught, yet tells hubby that she ‘trusts his good judgment and maturity and prays that he will recognize her love to him and come back to her’. Wife proceeds with her affair but feels ‘very guilty’ all along.

After she is done, she promises hubby that even though she could not control her passion for that one time/week/ month/summer), she now ‘deeply regrets’ doing it. She recognizes that it was ’a mistake’ (despite all warnings that preceded the “mistake”). She ‘would have taken it back if she could’ She ‘now understands how stupid she was’. Now that a licensed therapist have explained to her the roots of her behavior she is ‘a changed woman’ who cries a lot, does not eat much and does not have sex with any one and will not have sex with anyone until she dies, except for her beloved hubby, but no pressure of course. She also says that she knows that she ‘does not even deserve him’

One to three chapters later, hubby decides that he needs to go to therapy (they always do), than wife joins therapy. He is still angry but she is secretly hopeful. She keeps calling him ‘just to ask how he is doing’. Than they meet in a party and/or she gets sick and /or he gets sick. He /she /they nourish each other back to health, which makes them bond again. Hubby decides that “It’s time to get back together” At the last paragraph hubby is warning:”One more time and you are out - no more warnings” to which wify happily responds:”For sure silly, and the same goes for you.” To herself she says: ‘I always knew that one day he will come back” In PNWH they always do.

For future reference, I suggest that formula writers will give us the heads up by writing next to the story’s name the formula type: TWH or PNWH. Some readers will know what to avoid, others will make sure not to miss these stories.

I like the way you have the lover worry about his own marriage and have the husband talk to a friend whose marriage fell apart. Nice details.

When he was talking to his separated friend, he was almost to the point of , "OH god, I love her so much I just could not stand to be without her" bullshit statements. That's the scenario I based my comment on. I knew a guy once that was like this.

If you use outlook express, copy and then paste the text to an outlook express e-mail message window or an outlook express empty news message. you can then maximize the window and read the text. It is still a little wide but you don't have to scroll over 1/4 of an inch and the text can be read. don't know why but every once in awhile text gets posted like this.

You can also highlight the entire page to make it readable.

Other than the formating, a good story. The only reason I could see for Jack giving Karen permission is so that he could kill both Jim and Karen at the same time. Realistically speaking, he's not going to give permission, and Karen and Jim will cheat. I hope they get caught, and Sara and Jack take them to the cleaners in the divorces. A great way to end it would be for all the grown kids to disown their cheating parent, Jack and Sara get togther and have a wonderful life, and finally for Karen and Jim's relationship to end quickly after the divorce is final. Both of these cheaters deserve a very hard lesson in life, and being poor, disowned by your family, and losing the love of your life is the best way to do it.

When Karen finished her stupidity Jack got up without saying a word, grabbed his wallet and watch and walked out of the house.

For some reason this story was removed for a week...I thought Blue might have changed the storyline in order to be able to proceed...because I think he stuck himself in a corner.

After rereading it....nothing has changed...I thought for sure the author would retract one very very important comment that puts the biggest most tremendous GAPING hole in his storyline.

She confesses to Jack that he is right, but there is one problem, and cries out “I already fucked Jim…I am so sorry….”.

Jack, picks up his car keys and leaves her, never to return. And so on and so on.

I am repeating my earlier comment about this chapter also.

How is it as a young college student of 18-20 she is mature enough to leave the guy alone, but now as a 46yr old wife and mother(?) she is too stupid to control herself?

Seriously I don't want to make a judgement about the story until it's done but even now it's hard to comment on the chapters at the moment. How chapter 5 starts is going to make or break this story for me to be honest. It's yoru story and I want you to write it your way but I hope some serious thought is put into what the husband says.

I can't even imagine anyone man or woman agreeing to what this wife wants without some serious problem taking place. Hell the very fact that it's asked should cause some serious problems.

It would be one thing if she hadn't slept with the guy but she already has hasn't she? Had some come to him before sleeping with the guy that would have changed the situation a little. She is suppose to love her husband but she is far more selfish about her own needs to even care about her feelings. What's done is done but what does she honestly expect him to say? If she even thought about the situation for real she should expect in the best response a stream of cursing, hurtfull looks and maybe some crying. In the worst at the moment a fist in the face (yeah I know it's extreme and violent but I did say worst response). She's going to ask permission to have an afair after already fucking the guy?
