Great writing, wonderful read

I agree with the earlier commenter that the kitchen scene was one well-written—extremely well-written—episode. Great description of the action and economical and believable rendition of their thoughts. For some reason most dad/daughter stories don't do much for me but this one did. (Son/mom are always hotter.) I hope you write more without rushing blindly into son impregnates mother, dad impregnates daughter red-neck land. But, I really hope they stay together—or at least visit each other from time to time!
