I just kept waiting for the dad to actually display some sort of heartfelt contrition for what he'd done - not just for how he raped her (and that is what he did, don't fool yourselves people), but how he had neglected his daughter her entire life, and now, when he was supposed to be reconnecting with her, he just ends up using her.
