Seems like the story has great promise, and your writing is thoughtful and interesting... but the chapters are incredibly short - it's almost worth waiting until you have more, and then you can give readers a more fulfilling read. Just my opinion.

with the previous comment, excellent story, well written and lots of mileage to use on this one, however it was way to short for my personal tastes but it got across the points you seem to desire to express in this chapter so it worked out...look forward to reading on and soon i hope.
