Why are you telling her what she already knows? That's the problem with second person stories. This is a litle better than most, as it is generally in the present tense and so could be a "real-time", "reporting as it happens" narrative.

But third person omnipotent narrator usually works best, while some stories in first person past tense can be a close second.
