We got up, showered and dressed, it was time to head to the airport. In the car I asked if she needed any morning after contraception.
"No, I'm starting my cycle any day now so I'm safe. By next time I'll be back on the pill."
"Next time?"
"Sue wants me again in four weeks, she has to do her tax. It's only for a weekend, but I might tell Dave that it's Friday and Monday as well. We can have two full days together. Umm
if you want?"
"I want very much!" I took her hand and bought it up to my lips and kissed it.
She smiled and my day brightened, she was coming back, yippee, but not for four weeks, damn.
I parked at the domestic terminal and took off my seat belt to get out.
"I'll go the rest of the way myself," Jenny said quietly. "It's a small world and you never know who I might run into. Thank you for a wonderful night." she leant over and kissed me.
"It was my pleasure, I can't wait for the next four weeks to be over so you can come back"
"Yeah right," she laughed, getting out of the car. I laughed too but the problem was I think I really meant it!
