a truly awesome story!

Generally the convention for fiction is that if there is a character that has been unjustly offended against, by the end of the story the perpetrator will have faced some kind of justice. That is one reason why we read fiction - because it takes the reader away from real life where the offenders do not always get what they deserve. Alas, that did not happen in this story, so it was a disappointing ending. And on a grammatical note, since you have set the story in the UK, the correct spelling for ass is arse.

Wow. Never saw a story start out so good then take such a nose dive. The first caning of Angela was an erotic story. Then the retribution is just a depressing tale of rape.
