Well done with this teaser of an opening. While we now know the relationship of the two we do not know the characters. I would hope that we will get to know them as you continue. Who are they, how did they get here. Its your choice as the writer and I am not telling you how to proceed only that I would love to know more about who as well as what!

I agree with SS that to find out for about the characters would good, the relationship was beautifully descriptive but i like to feel i know the characters within a story, to follow them on their journey.

I also agree with Mel, that it is a very good piece of writing, and i to have given 5 stars.
