I found the story was getting quite boring and was dragging more and more. Looking that there were 20 chapters still to go, I'm afraid that I gave up. Sorry.

So far we have had a nice storyline of Maria and her getting used to being naked and having a purpose in life. I am kind of sure there will be a lot of twists and turns coming especially with her trial, switching (aka beating), and how she is going to spend the rest of her life as a criminal. Wow, 55 years? Sounds like Tiffany in the 'Maragana Girl' series where she is still a criminal, collared, naked, and being beaten at least once a year (how Tiffany explains that to her two children would be a chapter by itself).
