Your stuff is positively addictive, I can't believe you've delivered yet another cliffhanger ending into this series. Beautifully written, nicely paced and just as Missy starts to look comfortable she's faced by yet another dreadful prospect.
This reminds me of the kids' Saturday serials down at my local cinema, only a million times better. And just like 50 years ago I'd gladly part with my pocket money to get the next episode. Okay, I know you're not doing this for the money so as a mark of respect I'm going to double my seasonal donation to the British HIV charity, The Terrence Higgins Trust
Not a criticism of this enthralling story, just some info about how to protect ourselves.
If she had been better informed, Missy would have got herself a Post-Exposure Prophylactic (PEP) course of treatment immediately after her close encounter with HIV.
This 28 day course of limited anti-HIV drugs is proven to greatly reduce the risk of HIV taking hold provided it is started with 72 hours of the occasion of potential infection. [check out the www.aids.gov website for details and boring insurance stuff]
