For some reason this reminded me of the sitcom The Nanny, with Fran Drescher? The way Philip talked just made me think he was British, which led me to think of Philip being Maxwell and Kristine being Fran, the nanny. Overall, very nice story, but the resemblance to the show made me absolutely horny!
