Actually, we all know it's fantasy, but the fantasies expressed when one writes a wimp husband/slut wife “story” indicate a deep psychological disorder that can be treated with long term counseling. Canadians, for instance, can access that counseling by coming across the border into the United States, as many others do because of the deficient Canadian government healthcare system. Consider the adverse commentary to this “story” as shock treatment meant in the kindest way to get this “writer” to see he badly needs help.

I will give you a 50%, this type story isn't my cup-a-tea, but it is well written. Now as for "Anonymous in Canada" all I can do is Laugh at you.

The two comments I responded to were most definitely nasty. I don't have a problem with constructive negative criticism, but just saying "This bitch is a loser who needs to commit suicide, and her husband needs to go on a Virginia Tech style rampage" isn't constructive criticism.<BR>

I can see criticizing writing style, I can see criticizing plot elements, but where does anybody get off saying that somebody's fantasies "indicate a deep psychological disorder that can be treated with long term counseling?"<BR><BR>

Some people have rape fantasies. Does that mean they have a psychological need to be abused and demeaned in real life? No. Not at all.<BR>

Some people have group sex fantasies. Does that mean they want to be promiscuous in real life and fuck anybody that comes along? Again, no. Not at all.<BR>

If you don't like the story, fine. Say you don't like the story because it's not something that turns your crank. You don't attack the author personally, because their fantasies are somehow "sick." Your kinks are probably revolting to someone on here, and if someone said that you were psychotic and needed mental help, you'd probably be either upset, or pissed at the person who had the gall to tell you that your fantasies are not valid, while theirs are.<BR><BR>

That's exactly what people seem to do with these type of stories. Somehow it goes from "I don't like the topic," to "we have enough mentally ill women in the world already," as soon as the topic approaches anything related to a cheating wife.<BR><BR>

I don't have a problem with anonymous comments, obviously, as I write them myself. What I do have a problem with is someone hiding behind the anonymous moniker to attack the author based on their fantasies, rather than their writing.<BR><BR>

And as I said, it's always this type of story. Try to find anything similar to these comments in the Exhibitionist and Voyeur, Fetish, or even Nonconsent/Reluctance or Celebrity. You won't find them. According to your logic ("your" meaning "negative commenters in general", not necessarily you personally), Nonconsent authors should probably be arrested as potential rapists, and Celebrity authors should be taken in for wanting to stalk people for kinky sex. To me, these are much more indicative of mental disorders than anything to do with a cheating wife. But somehow, the commenters seem to easily keep their suggestions in these categories to style/spelling/fill-out-the-plot topics, rather than "you're fucking sick."<BR><BR>

You may not like someone's fantasies, but they are just as valid as yours, regardless. And considering the number of people that both write, and comment positively on such stories, I think that the complainers are desperately trying to cover up something. Maybe they're insecure about their ability to keep their SO happy, maybe they've already had someone cheat on them, so it touches a raw nerve. I don't know. But there is no excuse for the vitriolic comments from these people.

Because you like to beat off to this fantsey doesn't make it the only one there is. In this fictional story a mans life, home, wife and happiness is being destroyed. My fantsey is he has some input into what is going on with his stupid slut wife and her pathatic tormentors. why is my fantsey wrong? By phrasing it how most people who make these comments do, you're effectively saying that the author's fantasy is wrong, and yours is right. This story has generated some great polemics -- personally I regret not having lived out more of my fantasies, although living out some of them got me into deep complications.

When I first arrived in Sussex having lived in London, I used to go to the local health club for lunch with people from work. There was a woman there, quite pretty, with a baby, who used to talk to us. She had an amazingly refined accent and I remember her saying about her kid -- 'Oh I think he's bored, really bored ... Goodness Me, I never expected my own little fantasy to cause such debate. I am obviously biased but the knockers of my story seem to hate it because they disapprove of husbands who do nothing. That seems to be the whole raison d’etre for their vilification of my fantasy. That’s fine if they don’t like it I do not have a problem. So a question to you. Why do you keep reading it? It is now up to Chapter 3 and it is very clear what the story is about. In fact the opening paragraph of the opening chapter clearly states what is going to happen.

There are a number of scenarios as to why you keep reading, but the one I think is most likely is the following. You jack yourself off using only your thumb and one finger because you are small and inadequate and then you feel so guilty you have to be very rude about the author.

However, I do want to defend the husband in this case. Presently he does not have a clue as to what his wife is up to, so how could he possibly do something. He is an accountant not a psychic. In late chapters things will happen which he will notice and then you can decide whether “my John” is a wimp or not. At the moment you are so desperate to be rude you actually have no evidence to support your point of view.

In all honesty I am very like the character in this story except I have always been faithful to my husband and I always will. One thing that is unreal about a site like this is that sex becomes the most important thing in most of the stories, but for most people sex is just one part of their lives and probably not the most important. I do not have a fantastic sex life, it’s at best OK. However, I do have a great family and I will never do anything to jeopardise them in any way. I do not need to go for counselling I lead a very well adjusted life and a perfectly happy one.

This story as I have said before it is my fantasy. Would I like to live out this fantasy? No way. Does it turn me on? Yes it does and I have had some very fulfilling orgasms whilst living parts of it in my mind. This is a fantasy and not real life.

As readers, we may not like the story but we "surely" defend the right of the author to post their efforts. On the flip side, if the author does not want the "effect" of the comments - then shut off the ability to leave comments. In reality, most of these stories are fantasy, but what every author needs is the advice of the one & only professional commentator - Alvaron53.
