Make up your mind which view you are telling this story from. It wasn't a personal narrative in the first chapter, and halfway through the second chapter, you started as a personal narrative, adjusted into the storytelling vibe from the first chapter, then back into the personal narrative. Totally turned me off from this story.

...I think this chapter should be called, "The Jam'her Cruise".
