As with most stories on this site I wonder if the wife and the classmate are in cahoots with each other. It would explain why she is seemingly oblivious to his deceit.

If not, I can't wait to watch this guy get caught.

...at how oblivious people can be when they don't want to see what's right in front of them. I still haven't figured it all out myself, since this is my first foray into this kind of writing.
