What put the reviewers under the weather?

I have to wonder if it’s the “immorality” of the main character, which explains the strange fact that this little fun; tongue in chick tale was not commented on by anyone. If past examples could be an indication, then it’s most likely that that “immorality” was equated with not much thought to some moral failing of the author himself...

I don’t have the energy to dispel yet again this misconception; One hint – It’s fiction. It DOES NOT mean that we have, even temporarily to like the character’s moral qualities. But, this kind of a story does not ask of us for this kind of a commitment. Like it or not, there is a very long tradition of ‘naughty’ sexual stories which are not meant to be read as morality stories in the bible class…One may not want to ever engage in this genre, but the only way to understand any work of fiction is per it’s genre. How can you tell? Well, some practice would help, but that’s not enough of course. One has to take into account the context; in particular I would say, a dead giveaway is the tone. In this one, it’s all delightfully light; humorous and tongue in chick, never mind any sign of trying to seriously delve into the dead serious implications of adultery. Another sign is the choice of POV. It’s all designed to give us the best view (so to speak) at what the implied author wanted to give us: a sexy detailed report of a very unusual therapeutic encounter. The fact that the very dedicated nurse is married is an aside (also a humoristic point) as she recruits the lessons she learned to teach her husband in order to improve her own marital sex life.

The last part, from the point where the husband of the nurse”joins the party”, has a different tone which is more like a crazed sit com where every one is screaming and laughing and there is a happy end even if the logic of it does not necessarily sit well (presumably the nurse will continue with her ‘patient’ even after he is healed, with husband’s consent??). But you can get away with it, BECAUSE it’s humor, and because the erotic part was so entertaining.

One last afterthought. You have to wonder. Even IF the point of this story WAS to vent some “immoral fantasies”, would not it be healthier if we did not feel that we have to always bitterly condemn every “Immorality” in every fantasy? Maybe if we allowed ourselves the occasional fun of an “immoral fantasy” It would have been easier to lead more moral life in the real world? Just a thought.

My sense is that this author is much better at writing good hearted positive or lighthearted tales rather than dark vengeful stories.

This is a dark, though not vengeful story.

The husband was unrealistic. I don't believe any man could take the level of disrespect that his wife dished out to him. Such cruelty would eventually kill him, or render him impotent over his inadequacy.

I like her...!

do love a woman that's multi-orgasmic, and I can get her off several times, while edging...

tho never had a partner that gets off like she does...!
