What a Great way to start my day~~!!
Beautiful imagery and flow..
More Plez~
This is a pleasant well written piece and is the sort of thing most commenters might give a 5 for. However it is not exceptional in any way and I think there are probably a dozen or more in the last week more deserving of the editors notice. I thought pretty carefully before saying this and apologise to Pink Tulip in advance if any offence is taken. I think we devalue criticism if we go into raptures over this poem. Good Yes exceptional No
Disagree with below comment; only slightly.
Very good, but not enough mystery
presume to tell anyone else they didn't deserve an award they were given.
I think this poem is beautiful in it's simplicity, it's descriptiveness, and the smooth lull it creates.
It's not easy to write something that creates such a feeling of languor with so few words.
Thank you for sharing the poem and congratulations on the E
Your poem has been mentioned in Monday's New Poems Reviews.
(To the previous comments, it seems the only person who can/should decide who receives the editor's notice is the editor. And the editor obviously liked this one.) :)
the E, I would have commented on this poem, because it's very nice. Good poem.
Congratulations on the Editor's choice.
You may wish to edit it yourself and remove the apostrophe.
"with it's aimless current."
As for the E, congrats! As to the commentor who did not think it was deserving, poppy cock. It is the editor's choice and taste. Pablo Nerudo's forged poem did not get an E. I got a bunch once and could not tell why-- it is the editor's decision. :)
AS
that is very well deserved. Leisurely and relaxing flow throughout.
Late congrats on the greenie, though I wonders, who or what is immersed in the water?
