I dream of seeing you every night
I imagine us together and it just feels right
Your face, your touch, your smile, your eyes
To be with you I’ll tell a thousand lies

A year later and we’ve in different places
Cultures apart, met a lot of faces
She left me in pieces, a love I will never forget
You left because your life was full of regret
But now I find myself writing a new story
A tale of lust and passion where you can’t ignore me
Thinking of ways to get on that flight
I dream of seeing you every night

Seeing you again, I try to act normal
Keep my words polite and my greetings formal
Try to conceal my obvious excitement
You asked if I missed you and I just stayed silent
Why didn’t I just say how I feel?
Fear of rejection and scared of making it real
Even though we sat and talked until the morning light
How could I say?
I dream of seeing you every night

Didn’t want you to think I’m twisted
The first thing I see is a window misted
Move the camera and let it zoom out
In bed with you ready to mount
A thin film of sweat covers our skin
While the music plays the soundtrack of sin
Our lips meet and your body rests on mine
The bed springs creak when our legs intertwine

I don’t know if there’s a need for elaboration
But the way we moved, it’s more than simple penetration
I always imagined the feel of your hips swaying
Your hands locked with mine, our fingers interlacing
Our passion builds as our sexes combine
I know this is the moment that you’ll truly be mine
Hearing the gasps as we lock our bodies together
Wishing this moment would last forever

But it’s just a fantasy, will my dreams come true?
Thousands of miles separating me and you
Until we come together, it’s just an imaginary sight
I dream of seeing you every night

Listen to playful strings

touched by night's silent wings

behind closed eyes

lie unseen sighs

I say, "Thanks for sharing."
