Farewell

So what if I am about to die?
I have lived my life and that’s no lie.

I have tried to help my fellow man,
doing what and when I can

Sometimes I have failed, it’s true
Perhaps I had no effect on you.

But I live to the last without regret
Remembering the best til I forget

When I’ve gone, remember me
Until you too cease to be.

Please, leave the door open. I'm just behind you. Thanks for sharing the thought.

Well done, Ogg

Very nice, Ogg. You’ve managed to convey a timeless sentiment with brevity and made it personal while keeping it universal. That’s not easy stuff to make seem so effortless. Again, well done.

Salute!

True words... May we all be able to say the same! A goal worthy to strive for!

"Everyone leaves, but there is never a good time to go. All we can hope for is to not leave too much of a mess behind."

My grandfathers last words to me. Farewell, fare very well in the undiscovered country ahead.
