Here I go
Defending my honor
Again
All to feed an ego
Spurred on by one too many shots
Rum, tonic
And gin

Good looks, those hips
Serve well your means
To my end
Short skirt, midriff
Can’t leave you to piss
Without you teasin'
Other men

Fists fly to nose to face and ribs
My lungs
They struggle needing
More oxygen
Our love, my trust
Takes a one-two to the chin
With you
There’s such glee in the breaking
Of parts meant
Not to bend

It’s the weekend!
Happy Hour is til 7!
I've got money to spend!
Let's try something different tho
Baby, how about we just chill
Tonight, relax
And stay in?

Love it. Sometimes it's the small things that make us bleed, or find a very different insight in the end.
