Do!

It would be nice, at times, if we could just turn it off. Wouldn't it? Love doesn't work that way, though. Keep loving. Its force makes the world a nicer place, even if it does not come back to you from the desired direction.

You can't turn it off and you can't turn it on

Life would be so much easier if love were an elective emotion.

Absolute honesty.

Honesty is a must, and this is so honest, so heartfelt as to be palpable. (*a rose for you, and one for love*)

I'm speechless

I don't really know what to say except that we've all been there, I think, at one time or another. Lovely poem.

Love

This is a bittersweet poem ~ one that expresses what so many of us of gone through. What we have to remember is that it is better to have loved, then never to have loved at all...

Human experience

The beauty of human experience is how it is achingly familiar to each of us. Well written.

From the heart?.

Read like it: honest, clear, too touching to not shed a tear.
