Enjoyed that poem which easily could be lyrics to a song. Nice.

Needs an audience to applaud in a not quite crowded spoken word club. Half the audience then slowly sips their coffee mumbling my g_d it is good that was not me. The other half is remembering the ride while trying to decide if it was really worthwhile. The fun moments were really amazing. And they know when they successfully turn the page that will be history in another age.

With the right melody and the slide guitar accompaniment, this would make a fine blues ballad.

Hilarious! Only question: is it Country - Western, or Blues?

Love your stories. Your songwriting; not so much.

This is a pretty good Bob Dylan imitation! You've caught his tone well.

It sounds like a Country & Western song. If Albany is in Georgia, that's fine.

Which Albany? The capital of New York? The one in Georgia? Or the one in Oregon? There may even be more.
