Click hereShe comes to me in the night
Her touch gentle and light
Hearts racing beat for beat
Lips kissing soft and sweet
Promise of love remembered so dear
Only whispered now for none to hear
Faded memories of joy and pain
Are all too welcomed again and again
One true love so strong and whole
Cannot be separated soul from soul
As surely as night ends with the new day
So too does precious love find a way
The first line reminded me of "She Walks in Beauty in the Night" by Lord Byron. I very much enjoyed this poem. It has a little awkward moment with
"Faded memories of joy and pain
Are all too welcomed again and again"
I had to read the second line a couple times before I realized you meant the faded memories. However, it was still a pleasurable read.
