The Spring, Winter, Summer; and Fall
has battled far, near; and long.

As the planet circles its orbit, it's sure
to exhibit its magnetic invisible corset
keeps the sun at bay from its
incredible power and sources
This dance in time
has brought its own rhythm and chime.

I was born in the winter
I was fed in the Spring
I wondered at my surroundings
on the warm Summer floors abounding.

I saw the harvesting of nature
through its undergrowth of
hidden fruit, tree's, and vegetation
through Fall’s legislation.

Then I returned to where it all began
The beginning of winter.

I was shocked, at the loss of light
As day turned to night
As the warmth turned to cold.

I wondered at my surroundings
on my couch, at all this abounding.

I huddled and wept at the losses
Of the flower’s blooms and blossoms
At the fallen leaves from all the trees.

So, I slept and slept going through it
As if child neglect was due to it
I wouldn’t waken because of the
affects and deflation.

While I slept with my head
under the covers, I began to
dream and slumber.

Days grew longer even though
It was colder. I remained stubborn
refusing to wake from my sleep and slumber
not wanting to face a world without wonder.

So, in my stubbornness to face
this winter of discontentedness to embrace
I was going to rise up to display
my objection anyway.

because of this winter of losses
of the wonderful blooms and blossoms.

I stood on my feet
I stood on the floor
I was determined to speak
as I opened the door.

suddenly I saw, seeing
the spring tree’s birds and wonder
as the day now grew longer
as cold turned to warmer.

I wasn’t afraid anymore
I was going to walk through the door
for I was no longer stubborn anymore.

As the Spring, Winter, Summer; and Fall
has battled far, near; and long.

As the planet circles its orbit, it's sure
to exhibit its magnetic invisible corset
keeps the sun at bay from its
incredible power and sources
This dance in time
has brought its own rhythm and chime.

I was now proud to be a part of it
even though I would have to
start another round of it.
