This one is more like a blues lyric.

Sometimes you got to feel alright

It comes down in the night
Those times when everything I see
Is shut out from the light
And the empty spell of darkness
Lays its hurting hands on me

Then I know the time has come
It’s not something I can fight
I know the time has come
And I got to feel alright

Well sometimes it’s the booze
Take a drink and you can’t lose
‘Till you wake up in the morning
And it leaves you with the blues

Or sometimes it’s the needle
Takes you where you want to go
And though death’s the destination
You don’t want to go down slow

And it’s all because there’s sometimes
When the world gets you uptight
And there is no other answer
You know everybody sometimes
They just got to feel alright
