I walk the endless street at night,
Trying to find you with my sight.
The essence of you has disruptured my sleep,
My undying quest to find you I keep.
I thought I saw the reflection of you,
But it vanished while walking down the avenue.
I turned my back not wanting to show,
Thought it best if you didn't know.
The tears now streaming down my face,
And see me in this disgrace.
Eternal hope is within my heart,
Ever since we've been apart.
I hear your voice inside my head,
I can remember what you said.
My eyes full of tears begging you to stay,
It didn't have to be this way.
I can be with you in my mind,
I tried to be loving and treat you kind.
I see your pain, felt your heart grow cold,
Though I'm to blame, you so often told.
I never meant for it to go this far,
Wished I knew where you are,
I just hope in time, you'll understand and forgive me,
Cause my love for you will never cease to be.
