Moving into a basic apartment and stripping all the assets would leave her high and dry whilst he lives a happy life in retirement built over several years elsewhere. INKENT

He was no better than her, when did he meet the other woman, did she know about the wife or was she a slut as well? By the way he was stopped at the airport customs and changed with fraud and money laundering.

LenardSpencer3 months agoYes, he was spending a lot of his time overseas. So, WHY wait 20 years? Plus, what sort of revenge did he have for his own father and brother? He wouldn't just liquidate their assets and transfer the funds overseas.

If he has only recently discovered her sluttish behaviour , how did that occur ?
You are at least spot on by describing this as ' your ramblings ' as it is a bit of a mess .
Perhaps all the details have been edited out in order to make this into a short story ?

Zero emotions, pain, angst, etc. from the MC. Just, I've known you been a cheating slut for 20+ years and now I am taking all the money and going away.

Inkent3 months agoAuthorThe logic behind the story is that by waiting until they retire and leaving a miniscule asset (apartment) she's left with a fraction of what they would have had together going into old age but if he binned her 20 years earlier she'd be able to rebuild a decent life from the sale of assets and the simple factor of time ahead. If you've not tried the 750 word challenge have a go - it's quite a challenge :} INKENT

Anonymous3 months agoYeah, it cost her some money, we're told. We have no idea if it cost her anything else, in any way. She's been having some epic sex, for many years. Why should we think she regrets being released from her apparently useless husband, well except for the money he brought home. But we don't even know that for sure. We don't even know if she doesn't end up even better by virtue of her experienced wanton pussy. Maybe someday a Writer will take this outline up and make it a story.
Anonymous3 months ago20 years is a long long time to live with and support a cheating wife. Why waste the time? We don't live for even 150 years, so 20 years is obviously a huge chunk of life. Stupid. If you need revenge, fine take a couple weeks and set it up. THEN MOVE ON!

dawg997about 2 months agoI am one who can't understand why the husband would allow it to go on for 20 years. After the first, or maybe second time catching her cheating, burn it to the ground and start over with finding another. For sure, burn the crap family members on the way out of town.
But I still like your writing and please continue! So many newer authors here, it is fun to find a new good one like I did today with your stories. I read this short one as a break after reading the first two parts of your A, R, and C story, which I found to be a unique view of the subject from a different angle.
And yes, I agree the 750-word format is challenging to create a decent story.
Inkentabout 2 months agoAuthordawg997, thanks for thanks the time to comment. The important thing to remember is it's fiction, simply to make a (hopefully) fun read. I try to think as my writing as stepping into a hall of mirrors, we look at ourselves in the mirrors which distort and mis-shape reality, there may be some mirrors that are true reflections but the next one may heavily distort what we see.
Over the coming weeks, I'll release a "full fat" 20k word version of the story, with the reasoning as how the MC's brain works to make the choice to wait those 20 years. INKENT
