Too much backstory and not enough plot progression. You writing powers are great, especially when they are employed descriptively, but entire installments where nothing really advances Madison's story become tiresome quickly. 3 stars. 5 stars for sheer mastery of the written language but minus 2 stars for a turgid telling of your tale.
