I would have expected this story under SciFi&Fantasy, since fetish (or indeed anything sexual) was more hinted at than given much room.

I enjoy anime, including fantasy stuff so I like such settings, but here it was unexpected and as there were only brief and vague hints about the world this story takes place in, I didn't really manage to "get into" the setting.

Allowing yourself a longer text as an intiial chapter, with some world building and background might do this type of story more justice.
