Thought the ending was a bit of a downer. Even though you tried to end it upbeat. Maybe Amber could waited around the store to see if her lover would show up. Either way I think the ending needed a little work.

I read this when I was still Anonymous and gave it 5*. Coming back so much later, it is still an excellent story but I still wish for a part two.
