Good stuff though I am a bit put off by Ashyr’s wanting Slas as much as she has. Seems like she would be more concerned about Cal. It has made me think less of her, which is sad. Thanks for writing for us:)

@Anon: Thank you for your encouraging words!

@Admiral: Ashyr does still have a lot of maturing to do. For now, she's falling back to her old coping mechanisms when she's under stress: focus on seducing someone, keep the person she's really wants about as far from her thoughts as possible. Does it work? Sort of, for a little bit. Is it healthy? Decidedly not.
