What the heck is "nossa"? It's distracting as hell seeing that word (is it a word?) over and over. Is it a regional thing? I've never seen it before, and I've read a lot of things over the years. Is she saying nooo and ah at the same time? Please explain, someone.

Since someone asked... "nossa"; is a Portuguese expletive. The stories were written for, and are (VERY loosely) based on, a friend of mine who lived in Brazil for a number of years and uses the word a lot.
