This is another beautiful story with well-developed characters and vivid settings. I love to look up place names and learn about our world.

As always, thank you for writing, and thank you so much for sharing your work.

Excellent tale! Thank you. Yes our world is one grain of sand on a miles long beach and we are but a grain of sand on that beach that is our world, but what we make of it is all the difference. Live well, love well,

As near perfect as a story can be.

I'm not sure what all the excitement is about this story. it is tender and loving, but nothing really happens. And then the author insults our intelligence by telling the story twice from both points of view. Amazing. All the preparation by the author to get us excited is wasted since nothing exciting happens. Some obligatory sex is thrown in to justify its existence, but my 3* rating was really very generous.

Venice is a pretty cool place. When you were describing St Mark’s, Bridge of Sighs, etc my mind was recalling those sights.

One Of The Finest!

I think this is one of the finest stories on this site. It was very intellectual and it did NOT have the wall to wall, floor to ceiling continuous non-stop sex that seem to pervade the site. The sex was natural and very sensual as well. I really liked seeing the woman’s point of view since the great proportion of stories only show one POV. it seems. That one reader who commented should rethink their POV. MM

Why are more people not reading this wonderful 5* story? A writer with not only skill but a beautiful knowledge of our earth has created a tale that is full of history, science and geography that is not only very entertaining, but educational.

Just perfection, well written, characters drawn very well, the plot worked up intelligently and paced wonderfully. This is one of those pieces you point to and say “This is how it should be done”.

Many thanks for writing and posting, cheers Ppfzz.

P.S. Glad to see Overcritical hasn’t lost his touch. 😉

‘A Girl Called Fate’ fulfilled the main criteria that I look for in a story; a well constructed and believable plot set in place and time. It was enjoyable, entertaining, self contained and the erotic scenes didn’t overwhelm the plot. I loved it! 5 stars and added to my favourites.

Imaginative and well written. The sex was just right; any more would have overwhelmed the story. 5*.
