It seems you didn't finish this sentence, "She nodded absently, obviously thinking about something, but her face changed when I added", and it never says what was added/said.

You would be right and I've looked at most of the older versions to find out what went wrong without much luck. The sentence read 'She nodded absently, obviously thinking about something." in the versions from may 2021 and before, while all the 2022 versions have the unfinished sentence. Obviously, something have happened between the two versions. I guess is that I wrote a whole sentence and then at some point accidentally deleted half of it :(
