Too short! i want more of george breaking millicent over the years and glimpses of his insane jealousy.

How am I supposed to nut to such a depressing ending?

I think this is the ending for me, or maybe a part 4 where George come back to haunt Millicent and her husband.

Sigggghhhhh. The sadness? I absolutely loved this entire story, and I was really getting a feel for these two. That maybe over time he would stop being quite so abusive, so she wouldn't be so scared? Incredible storyline on all the Regency series! Please keep writing!

A continuation would be nice, would love something like jra suggested above. I hope this won’t be the last we see of Millie and George.

@jra13 and @anon, I am genuinely surprised you guys like this pairing. I personally always foresaw a tragic end for Millie but I'll try and envision something sweeter and more hopeful. :-)

Impatient as to how the next chapter would turn out (I really hope there would be one… or even more!) rooting for Millie to get her HEA but at the same time I’m curious as to what the tragic ending you envisioned for her was. I hope you release both <3

This is great! its hard to find stories that do emotional sadism well. I think you struck a great balance between letting then have a romance and also showing that George’s actions have consequences and it was realistic as to how their dynamic would be
