Thanks for the stars! I know the story could use some editing, as I've written very little fiction in my life (tenses? what are those?). But it's difficult to find a volunteer editor who's not busy.

Between March and August of 2022 I updated all 6 chapters of this series to smooth a few rough edges, clean up the prose, fix some inconsistencies, and fine-tune some characters to be closer to how I envisioned them. This was the first update for most of these chapters, which were all originally submitted in 2020.
