You need to check your grammar. Missing and misspelled words and mixing up who's doing what to who took away from an otherwise great story.

It's tough to edit your own work but even Word's spell checker and grammar review would have caught a lot of the errors.

...having to keep rereading parts because of grammatical errors kept pulling me out of the fantasy. Frustrating, especially given your abve average ability to tell a good story. Use one of the editors that volunteer here.
