Just as she reached the door she paused, seeming to think for a minute before turning round and hitting him with a bombshell!
"So...just so that we know...you did have sex with Lizzie during the photo-shoot didn't you?"
It came so much out of the blue that he would have been unprepared at the best of times, he was never very good with bare-faced lies. But now, he couldn't help but break eye contact and by the time that he'd looked back at her she knew. And he knew that she knew. There was nothing he could say.
But instead of the big explosion that he was expecting, she simply nodded to herself and closed the bathroom door behind her.
"Shit!" he thought desperately. Now what?
