All Comments on 'A Tale of Two Translators'

A nice story that really captures the just-out-of-college-trying-to-make-it-in-a-foreign-country experience. I really like the way that everybody can communicate pretty well but not perfectly because of the differences in their familiarity with the local dialect and the lingua franca. The character of Anja is very well drawn: first desirable but seemingly unattainable, then seemingly attained but actually out the door with the goods in her pocket. I've met her myself, more than once. If I had one criticism, it is that I sometimes had problems with the continuity. For example, was Anja present with Wade at the final confrontation or not? It seems like you wrote it both ways and didn't adequately proofread once you'd made up your mind. Still, though an original and enjoyable story. The best translator porn I've come across in quite some time. : )
