You jump between present and past tense. Very difficult to read. Multiple typos and errors. Strongly recommend an editor.

Romance stories are far too few on this site, so this author is to be congratulated for writing one, even if it is too short. It has excellent characters and a marvelous and almost dreamy romantic atmosphere that is really captivating. Perhaps the author will consider writing more chapters for A Very Good Date; this story certainly deserves them. Five stars.
