"Aww don't be like that Katie. You had a good time, didn't you?" his sarcastic tone made me cringe while the closeness of his body set my pulse racing again.
"Do you mind Ryan. I'd like to get back to my husband." I didn't look him in the eye.
Stepping closer he edged me against the wall so I was unable to move and leaned his mouth towards mine.
"I'll be on a job down your way in a couple of weeks." He informed me casually.
"Really." I could feel my heart beating faster as I feigned disinterest.
"Yeah. Maybe we could get together? You know you'd enjoy it." he propositioned me before kissing me on the mouth, his tongue probing between my lips.
To my shame I responded, kissing him back for a moment before pulling away and shoving him aside I walked away.
"I'll text you babe. It'll be fun." His last words filled my ears as I headed back to the function room wondering what my husband would say when I told him about Ryan's suggestion.
