The ending was too abrupt. For a son to be in that position, i'd think aftercare would be second nature to a mother.

Besides that, I felt the story was well written and intriguing. Hoping for a follow-up where the mother-son aspect of the story is explored in greater detail.

The mother has issues with the husband. She, IRL, would be sadistic. Here she just liked to dominate a younger man and her son was there for her. Obviously women knew of this place and the secretary knew the son worked there.
