"Great and let's keep going, I'll say what I want done in the back and here they move inside," Cody explained as he waved his hand to the open lot beside the building, "This will be customer parking, that back corner will be reserved for Ashleys and Manny's crews to set up. Speaking of," Cody said looking behind them, he asked Ashley a question, "Is there anything I can set up to help with security? I was already thinking about a booth by the front gate," Cody said to her.

"That's a start, I would add few retractable bollards or one large road blocker," Ashley said but upon seeing Cody's confusing explained what they where, "A bollard is like a thick pillar while a road blocker is a ramp that has a two to four foot flat area that blocks cars."

"Ah I know what you're talking about now, My family has some set up on the property," Cody said now knowing their names, "Anything else?" Cody asked.

"Not really, you already have a tall solid wall, maybe get it a bit fixed up and add an overhang on the top so it's not so easily climbable," Ashley said as she was looking around.

"Got it, and ready for the last part of the outside plans?" Cody asked the contractors leading them to he back portion, "As you can see we have a lot of ground to use so what I'm thinking is from the first backdoor to the warehouse at the end is going to be turned into a backyard, nothing to fancy just some sod and maybe a few trees a large playground for kids and an inground pool. Set up a ten foot wooden privacy slash safety fence for the canal edge and parking lot," Cody explained looking back at them, "Anything to add?" Cody asked.

"It's pretty easy to do over all, nothing to add really. What about you guys," Aaron said asking Kelsie and Chuck who both shook their heads.

"Then let's go inside," Cody said as he led them to the closest door, Cody fumbled with the keys trying to find the right one, "I'm going to need to organize these things," Cody mumbled as he opened the door that led to the office.

As they all entered the hallway Cody walked to the large sliding door and opened it letting in the light and fresh air, "As you can see it's pretty empty other than a few things, we'll also need to rip up some floor to smooth it out," Cody said, pointing to the small concrete platforms, "Once that's done then we just need to build a pet store, vet clinic and some kind of food place whether it's a bar, restaurant, bakery or a coffee shop," Cody explained as all of them looked around, Ashley studied the corners and walls for places that would get the most coverage.

"I can see them all fitting but they'll be small, can't fit full size stores in here because they'll be too narrow," Aaron said looking down the full length.

"They're going to have two floors, the third floor will be connected to the residence which will take up this area," Cody explained, pointing to the large office area.

Kelsie studied the offices and slowly looked up and over, "You looking to have a large home, guessing mostly for space?" Kelsie asked.

"Yup, let's just say it's ironic who my partner is," Cody said smiling.

"Going to assume she matches what you rescue," Aaron said laughing at the irony.

"Yes and she's constantly looking to have others join me so I'll need room for them as well and for kids," Cody explained.

"Got it, when it comes to the home area I'd like to run it, I've got the experience when it comes to building for demis," Kelsie told Aaron and Chuck.

"I've heard a lot about your places, I can't match what you do so I'll handle the shops then," Aaron responded

"You guys do you and I'll cover the wires and piping," Chuck said as he walked over to an old wire and pulled at it and it snapped, "Whoops, guess all this shit is brittle now," Chuck said, wiping his hand on his pants.

"I hope so, again almost sixty years has passed since this place burned down, i also don't know when they last did maintenance before then," Cody said as he walked towards the small hallway at the other end that connected the warehouse to the factory floor, "If you look up there, there's two locked doors, those spaces i'll probably convert to small medical or food areas for the snakes and other reptiles," Cody said as they walked into the hallway, "This spot is probably going to become an office area mostly to manage the rescues," Cody finished letting them walk past into the three floor warehouse.

Chuck grumbled loudly while looking up the lift shaft, "That's going to be a pain to fix up and one question, How many tanks are you going to have?" Chuck asked Cody as he noticed that the lift was slanted showing that there was a small room under it.

"I already have almost five hundred rescues in a cramped space, I have the room temp pretty high for them and the ones that do have heating are mostly lamps," Cody explained as he watch Chuck lay down and stick his head in the gap between the lift and floor, "Find anything interesting," Cody asked as he walked closer along with Kelsie, Aaron and Ashley.

"Ya I did, found where the lifts mechanisms are. Bad news it's flooded down there, I'm guessing at some point water broke through from the canal and made its way in here," Chuck said as he pulled back and stood, "We will have to replace everything to get the lift working again, I wouldn't even try to move it until we have something to secure it," Chuck explained as Kelsie looked under it next.

Kelsie stood up and looked around above them, "We can secure the lift to the second floor, I'll bring in my skid steer and use that to get the lift out of the hole and somewhere safer," Kelsie explained pointing to the thick metal beams in each lift shaft corner.

"Sounds good, you guys do what needs to be done. But my main question is the floors in here," Cody said pointing to rusted patches and holes, "Can we just tear them down or just try and patch them, please remember they're going to be holding a lot of weight!" Cody said, stressing the final point.

"Easily fixable, the only problem is the length of time, you don't need to worry about the weight limit, this floor was made to hold whatever this factory made. If I remember correctly I think it was parts for the laker boats, they may have also been a recycling plant and break down the parts too. A lot of that machinery weighs in the hundreds of pounds or even tons," Aaron said as he looked up at the floors.

"Huh well that's good to know," Cody said as he noticed Aaron started to climb the old stairs, "Carefull," Cody called out in warning.

"I'll be fine," Aaron said as he looked around at all the old shelving that was rusted and falling apart, "You're going to make a lot of money in scrap," Aaron called out, Cody walked over to a corner that had a lot of stacked metal.

"Thanks, What do you guys think about my plans so far," Cody asked them as Aaron came back down.

"A lot of work, we can probably get most of the outside started before winter hits, After that we can start the inside and get this place insulated properly and ready to build in," Kelsie said as Chuck walked back over to them after inspecting the corners.

"That stack of metal is blocking the entrance to the lower floor i think, and before all that I'm going to have to gut everything in this place. All the wiring, plumbing and ducts, then I have to find that damn water system which I hope is down there. the electrical panels i have no clue where they could be, i'll have to follow the wiring when you get the permits," Chuck said shaking his head.

"Before any work starts we will have to clean this place up and get everything out. I saw some stuff when I looked in the office and the stuff I saw will need a sharps bin." Aaron said, shaking his head.

"Cleaning this place will take days," Cody said more to himself, "Unless you guys want to start early?" Cody asked.

"I have no crews that can start just yet, I have two that will finish their project in two weeks," Aaron said.

"Same here, the one crew will finish this week hopefully," Kelsie said.

"I don't have crews but most of my guys have their books filled," Chuck also said.

"I have a crazy idea then," Cody said smirking, "How many teens do you know that would like to make a hundred bucks? All they have to do is sweep and help clean this place, I'll handle the sharp bin and the heavy metal stuff can wait," Cody said to all three.

Aaron laughed while Kelsie chuckled, Chuck nodded and said, "I can think of ten people already," Chuck said.

"I got a lot of people I can ask, but if you wait till my crews are done, I can easily get this place cleaned and with the kids help get almost everything done," Kelsie explained after he stopped chuckling.

"My sisters married into a pretty close knit family, I can easily get thirty teens and some kids who would love to make a hundred bucks. Might even get some adults to help, hell they might even make it into a barbecue if you let them," Aaron said while laughing still.

"Sounds great, I don't mind that so long as everyone just helps to clean this place up, let the adults handle the metal and sharp bins. If they bring food and drink that could help it go all day, I might even bring some stuff over to it," Cody said as Aaron had his phone in hand.

"One moment I'm going to video call her," Aaron said taking a few steps away, Cody watched as Aaron explained the idea and smiled when he saw the women on the screen convince a man to help out, Kelsie nodded and hung up, "So good news and bad news, They'll get a bunch of people together and help out to clean this place up, and have food and drink. Bad news, they're going to use the parking lot for games and parking for bikes and vans, pretty much it's going to be a family gathering of bikers," Kelsie explained.

"I don't mind bikers at all, they're actually pretty nice so long as you're respectful," Cody said as he led them to the large sliding door where he noticed Sarah had parked in the shade of the building.

"Guess we won't need to call in our people then," Aaron said as Chuck nodded beside.

"Kelsie, get her to text me later so we can plan out more details, the cleaning won't happen tomorrow but the next day. I'm going to be busy most of it, I have to get a large dumpster out here," Cody said as he pulled close the large sliding door, "So if I understand all this right, you three accept this job and whatever annoyances come with it?" Cody asked as the foot patrols started to come back.

"On one condition for me," Aaron said, handing Cody a card, "You tell everyone that I helped with this."

"Same here," Kelsie as he also handed Cody a card.

Chuck stayed silent as he handed Cody two cards. Cody looked at the second and asked, "Abby's interior design?"

"My wifes company, she's wonderful and great at what she does. She's yet to fail in five years," Chuck said smiling.

"Impressive," Cody said walking with them as they headed to where they were parked, "I'll talk to you guys later. Once we start working I'll probably create a group chat for us to talk in," Cody said as he stood at the gate watching them walk to their own vehicles.

"Sounds good, I'll talk to you later then, have a good day," Aaron called out before pulling away and into traffic. Chuck smiled and waved as he left while Kelsie waved and pulled out last.

Cody walked over to his truck and pulled open the passenger door and stepped in, "Hey Sarah, how was your day," Cody asked as he sat back.

"Good me and the girls mostly talked, They picked up some stuff while I dealt with Manny and his team. Who by the way have set up a small office like tent on the roof, Matilda's skin shocked them," Sarah said giggling at the memory.

"Ya most people get spooked by her, who came in today to check on the second floor? If I recall Spencer and Zach were supposed to come in for feedings today," Cody asked while Sarah started the truck and drove to the gate.

"Yup they were surprised to see me but when Carly explained everything they said that you were 'lucky' to have met me," Sarah said as pulled into traffic, "By the way that sub is for you," Sarah said, mentioning the sandwich that was on the dashboard.

"Thanks, I haven't eaten much today," Cody said quickly unwrapping the food before eating.

"I can tell," Sarah said laughing as they both fell silent, Cody ate while Sarah drove.

As Cody finished the sub Sarah pulled in, the doors slid up allowing Sarah to drive into the parking spot, "I can't wait to lay down," Cody mumbled as he got out and headed towards the elevator with Sarah following beside him.

"Want me to join you?" Sarah asked as she closed the elevator doors.

"As nice as that would be no, i'm just going to get clean quickly and go lay in bed with my tablet. I'm exhausted, today wasn't long but it was busy," Cody explained as the doors opened, he saw Carly, Eveline and Suzy watching some show on the T.V.

"Hey Cody, how was your day?" Carly asked, hearing them come in.

"Tiring, you girls relax, I'm only going to shower quickly then lay down," Cody said, heading straight for the bathroom.

"You sure you don't want someone to join you?" Eveline asked as Suzy shook her head and hissed something quickly.

"I agree Suzy, they're both to horny for their own good," Sarah said giggling.

Carly and Eveline turned to Sarah and said simultaneously, "Says the pregnant one."

Cody looked over and smirked before closing the bathroom door, "You two really are twins sometimes," Sarah said laughing.

The twins laughed as they heard the shower start, "Did you tell him what we all talked about today?" Carly asked after calming down.

"No, it's been a long day. I was going to wait a bit, maybe next week when it's not so busy," Sarah said as she started dinner.

"I can tell him while he lays down, let him relax and think about it at the same time," Carly explained while Eveline got up and helped Sarah.

"Thanks hun," Sarah said to Eveline who smiled and nodded, "If you want to then go for it, just be a bit gentle with it," Sarah responded to Carly.

"I'll be as gentle as possible," Carly said Standing up awkwardly with her long fingers.

The girls heard the shower turn off then turn to see Cody walking out with his hair wet and a towel around his waist, Carly walked over to Cody who entered the bedroom, "Hey Cody, mind if we cuddle a bit?" Carly asked after closing the door.

Cody closed the curtains and layed down in bed letting the towel fall, "Sure I don't mind the company, I was just going to relax, maybe even nap," Cody said watching Carly struggle to strip.

Cody walked over and helped her to strip, "Thanks and that's fine, I just wanted to tell you something that me and the girls talked about today," Carly said, laying in bed first and letting Cody crawl in front of her.

Cody made sure Carly was comfortable before pulling her closer, "So what is it you girls talked about?" Cody asked.

"Don't ask me how it started but the topic of other girls came up, Sarah was pushing for an open invitation kinda deal," Carly started to say causing Cody to groan, "But i stopped that because knowing you, you don't want many. You're quite happy with us as is it," Carly explained, causing Cody to nod.

"What about Eveline, what was her stance?"Cody asked, looking slightly annoyed.

"She was in the middle of it, in her words 'you should only take on as many as you can handle'" Carly said, repeating Eveline's opinion.

"I can barely handle you three now," Cody said, huffing in annoyance.

"You do well considering two of us are horny demis," Carly said smiling, "After we talked Sarah into sending invites to every demi we know, we talked about who we would consider asking," Carly explained to Cody causing him to look surprised.

"You would invite random people over without talking to me first," Cody said in annoyance.

"Never we would talk to you first," Carly said quickly, "We only talked about inviting a few friends we know are trustworthy, we don't plan on calling them over anytime soon. What we hope to happen is that you get everything settled this month, buildings, funds, plans, organisations, appointments with your dad, all that stuff," Carly explained.

Cody rolled onto his back and once he did Carly lifted herself up with her elbow, "Sarah was supposed to tell you this on the way back, she didn't so I decided to. This way you can relax and choose whether or not you want us to invite others or not," Carly explained as she went to stand.

Cody sighed and reached over pulling Carly back into bed, "Stay here, I like the company," Cody said letting Carly get comfy.

"If you'd like I can tell you about the girls we were thinking of asking," Carly offered while resting her hand on Cody's stomach.

"Sure, go ahead," Cody said, sliding his arm under Carly and moving her on top of him.

Carly smiled and laid her head down, "So each of us picked one of our trusted friends, people we've known for years. I chose my friend Garnet, Eveline chose our friend Carmen mainly because it's hard for her to find a partner," Carly explained but was interrupted by Cody.

"Why is it hard for her to find a partner?" Cody asked with his eyes closed gently rubbing Carly's back relaxing.

"Carmen is a scorpion demi, she's pretty aggressive in bed but it generally a pretty sweet girl that is very considerate of others. Before you ask, she's aggressive because she likes to hold her partners in her pincers and sting them with her tail. She has different venoms, one for food and one for mating but people generally don't like being stung," Carly explained to Cody who opened one eye.

"What happens to her partners that she stings?" Cody asked, sounding slightly nervous.

"Nothing much, they just get hard and stay hard for a few hours, no serious side effects other than being light headed," Carly responded.

"I see, sounds interesting, please continue," Cody said, closing one eye.

"Sarah wants to ask her yoga instructor, they've been friends for a few years. She knew Sarah before she met her most recent Ex, I've never met her but Sarah is adamant that she's trustworthy, apparently Sarah helped her close shop one day and in the shower lost her jewel and changed into her demi form. Emma the yoga instructor walked in before Sarah could lock the door and scared Sarah. Emma had to take hers off before Sarah knocked her out, she's a horse demi or better known as a centaur," Carly explained quietly enjoying the back rub.

"Sarah seems accident prone to revealing things," Cody mumbled under his breath making Carly giggle.

"Yes she is but as she puts it 'some people are just trustworthy whether I know them or not'," Carly said repeating Sarah's words, "I swear Sarah's instincts are on another level, they're almost prophetic in some cases," Carly said shaking her head lightly in disbelief.

"That's good and anyone else?" Cody asked somehow knowing that there were more than three people.

"After Carmen came up I mentioned another Demi that has trouble finding partners, they both agreed but only after I told them about your open minded past," Carly said, making Cody open one eye slightly.

"What did you tell them?" Cody asked.

"That you've experimented with men and trans people in the past, Once I said that they both agreed that Blair could work, the demi who has trouble finding partners," Carly explained then said defensively, "Don't get annoyed your pretty open with your past as is, they would have found out sooner than later. Hell one of your friends with benefits still volunteers here every week," Carly finished giving Cody a know it all smirk.

"Fair point, what kind of Demi is she then?" Cody asked, letting his curiosity get the better of him.

"She is a slug demi, slugs are one of the few true hermaphrodites and that trait is true for the Demi version as well. Now that might not be a problem in most cases but she considers herself straight, prefers to be with men over women. The biggest problem is that she finds partners who may not care about her having both sexes but do eventually care then she is bigger than them, you're bigger than her in length but not thickness. At least that's what she's telling people," Carly explained to Cody who nodded.
